Trust & Transparency
Editorial Policy
How we research, write, and keep our lawn care guides accurate over time.
Our Research Standards
Every guide should be built from primary sources before publishing, including:
- University extension programs (e.g. Penn State, UC Davis, Texas A&M AgriLife) for grass-species and regional guidance
- EPA registration data for any pesticide, herbicide, or fungicide product recommended
- Peer-reviewed turfgrass science literature for disease and pest identification
Content Review Policy
- Annual review cycle for every published guide
- Event-driven updates when EPA registration status or extension guidance changes
- A visible "last updated" date on every article
