What that does not influence. We are never paid to include a product, to rank it, or to describe it favourably, and no manufacturer sees a review before it is published. Rankings come from published specifications, verified owner feedback and — where it applies to how a product should be used — university extension guidance. A product that earns no commission is included on the same terms as one that does, and several of our recommendations are to spend less, or to buy nothing at all.

Prices. We do not publish prices anywhere on this site. Prices change constantly and a figure printed here would be wrong within days, so every product links to Amazon where the current price is shown. Where we describe something as budget, mid-range or premium, that is a relative position in its category rather than a price claim.
